Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Strongly Condemns the Barbaric Terrorist Attack in Pahalgam

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School stands united in grief and outrage over the cowardly and inhumane terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The entire school community — staff, students and management — expresses deep sorrow for the loss of innocent lives and prays for the swift recovery of the injured. In a special assembly held today, the school paid solemn tribute to the brave souls who fell victim to this heinous act. The students observed a two-minute silence and raised their voices in unity against terrorism. The teachers addressed the students, emphasizing the values of peace, harmony and national unity. Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, the Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, condemned the attack in the strongest terms and stated, "Terrorism is the enemy of humanity. No religion, ideology, or cause can ever justify the spilling of innocent blood. He also said that Pakistan should be made to taste it’s own medicine. Green Land stands with the nation and the brave security forces who safeguard our sovereignty with unmatched courage.” The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, in an emotionally charged address, delivered a strong message to the gathering: “The attack in Pahalgam is not just an attack on innocent lives—it is an attack on the soul of humanity. As educators, it is our sacred duty to nurture a generation that rejects violence and embraces the power of knowledge, compassion and peace. Our students are not just the future of this country—they are the answer to this darkness. We will not be silenced by fear; we will speak louder with wisdom, courage and unity.”

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Celebrates Jal Pakhwada Week & English Language Day

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School continued its enthusiastic observance of Jal Pakhwada Week with a range of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about water conservation among students. A poster-making activity was organized for the students of Class VII, where they creatively expressed their ideas on water conservation and rainwater harvesting. Their artwork not only reflected awareness but also showcased innovative solutions for protecting this vital resource. To further sensitize students, classes VI to IX participated in group song presentations centered on the theme of water conservation. The melodies resonated with powerful messages, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. Coinciding with this, the school also celebrated English Language Day. On this occasion, an English declamation contest was held for the students of Classes VIII and IX. The students eloquently delivered speeches on thought-provoking topics like “The Beauty of English Literature – A Reflection of Human Experience” “The Role of Technology in Shaping the Future of English”etc. The contest served as a platform for young minds to display their linguistic flair and deep understanding of the evolving nature of the English language. The students of Primary section came dressed up as poets.
